An unforgettable event is right around the corner! From October 2nd to 10th, we’re kicking off another major route development campaign on Karpathos.
Our island is a true hidden gem — hundreds of meters of pristine limestone, crystal-clear Aegean waters right at your feet, and massive potential that we’re turning step-by-step into safe, world-class climbing routes.
Primary Target: Iwona’s Canyon!This year, our main focus and energy will be centered on Iwona’s Canyon.
It’s an extraordinary location with a unique atmosphere and incredible potential. You’ll find top-tier rock quality, amazing tufa formations, and enough space for dozens of new, diverse lines — ranging from accessible classics to hard projects. We want to turn Iwona’s Canyon into one of Karpathos’ signature climbing sectors!
For anyone who loves climbing and wants to spend quality time in an epic community atmosphere!
Experienced Route Developers: If you already have experience bolting lines, your hands and gear will be invaluable.
Beginners in Route Development: Want to see how route setting works behind the scenes and learn how to bolt safely? We’re more than happy to teach you the entire process from A to Z!
Climbers & Supporters: We need hands on the ground for cleaning rock, testing freshly bolted routes, and sharing great climbing sessions after a hard day’s work.
Make Your Mark: Leave your signature on the rock and climb routes that will feature in the upcoming guidebooks!
Learn from Experts: Master rope management, drilling techniques, titanium anchors, and epoxy resin application.

What to bring: Stoke, climbing shoes, and good energy! You can rent all essential gear (ropes, helmets, etc.) from us on site, but every route developer must bring their own drill.
