Currently Afiartis area offers climbing in one sector only, called First. The rock was mostly equipped by windsurfers. The name comes from location: it is the closest climbing spot from the windsurfing spot. The sector stays in the sun all day long.

Heading from the airport towards Pigadia, before the street begins zigzaging upwards, you will find a crossroads with the tavern and signs leading to Poseidon Hotel. Turn left here, and park after 250m, next to the church.
